Responsibilities:

• Work with business users and business analysts alongside senior members to understand requirements
• Work within scrum/business teams to design applications
• Implement and maintain DevOps/automation features
• Create automated feature tests using TDD/BDD
• Work in a continuous build mode using GIT/Team City
• Deploy and test with scrum team members/business in a sprint/iterative manner
• Build and deploy
• Provide post-implementation support
• Contribute to the design of the overall solution
• Continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of any object-oriented programming language (e.g. C#/Java/Python)
• Good knowledge of SQL Server
• Understanding of test-driven and behavior-driven development methodologies
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g. GIT, TFS, SVN)
• Good understanding of data structures and the algorithm writing
• Knowledge of design principles
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
• Excellent communication skills

Skills that will help:

• Object-oriented programming language (C# preferred)
• Knowledge of SQL Server
• Understanding of DevOps concepts
• Knowledge of VCS tools such as GIT and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of TDD tools like NUnit/Junit/MS test/TSQl-T
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology and software development approach

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of data science using R or Python
• Understanding of asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of micro-service-based design
• Knowledge of cloud-based application infrastructure.
